Students begin their Emma journey spending time together in retreat at Camp Chingachgook on Lake George. They bond together over team-building activities 和 have ongoing opportunities to participate in activities that allow them to get to know one another 和 explore their own identity. They gather for hot cocoa 和 cookies with 校长 Jenny Rao 和 write a letter to themselves. 这些班级团结活动贯穿学生在艾玛的整个学习过程, 每个班级都有特殊的传统. 在艾玛大学毕业的时候, students return to Camp Chingachgook for their senior retreat 和 revisit the letter they wrote to themselves four years earlier—one last celebration of their years together!
